You gotta love the way Clayton added his own flair to the design.
Clayton made the clock shown below a few years ago from local Hawaiian woods, Teak and Koa.
The gears are of Baltic Birch ply on Ash axels.
In one of the photos you can see the Lava rock weights.
These weights can be interchanged with other rocks.
This allows adjustment to the minimum amount of weight necessary to keep the clock running.
Clayton is without a doubt the most prolific and enthusiastic wooden clock maker on the planet.
